TAKE TWO! LAS VEGAS FILMMAKERS GEAR-UP FOR DISTRIBUTION
Entertainment Editors/Writers Las Vegas, NV—December 8, 2005 — Las Vegas based Vision Dynamics Entertainment is gearing up for the re-release of their third feature-length film, THE INDIE PENDANT. The PG-type action comedy is scheduled to play at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library (located at 1401 East Flamingo Road) on Thursday January 19th, 2006. The film originally premiered to local audiences last July at the Palms Casino Resort to an overwhelming 800 plus audience, and received State recognition from Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt. Since the film originally premiered, producers Kelly Schwarze, Ed Dentzel, and J.P. Franco have been strategizing for distribution. Now that the film is complete for theatrical and DVD video release, the filmmakers intend on holding a series of screenings, and promotional events in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to attract distribution, and industry interest. The film captures the talents of acting scholar Rusty Meyers (Silverado, Top of the World, and Ocean’s Eleven), Nick Ernst, Joy Highsmith (Six Feet Under), and Sandy Hackett (The S.I.N., and Down and Derby). The production also employed a dozen interns from UNLV, and CCSN. THE INDIE PENDANT WILL BE SCREENING AT THE EAST FLAMINGO, LAS VEGAS-CLARK COUNTY LIBRARY, ON THURSDAY JANUARY 19TH AT 7:00PM. ALL ADMISSION IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT www.vdefilms.com. “THE INDIE PENDANT” is a quirky comedy that combines the controversial subjects of Internet piracy, scarcely talented Hollywood producers and screenplay theft. The film also gives viewers a first-time look at the today’s independent filmmaker, and the struggles this small minority faces in dealing with the “Hollywood Machine”. “VISION DYNAMICS ENTERTAINMENT” is a Las Vegas-based independent film and music video Company that has already produced fifteen music videos and three feature films. Kelly Schwarze, Director and Co-Producer of The Indie-Pendant stated, “The film has been giving a face-lift, and a little attitude adjustment. Those who seen it at the Palms will be surprised to see what we did to it. It’s certainly edgier than before.”
