The Indie Pendant After spending years trying to become mainstream, Las Vegas independent filmmaker, Kevin Sanderson, has secured a meeting with Creative Forces Studios mega producer, Robert Wynn. What Kevin doesn’t know is that Wynn has plans to make Kevin’s new screenplay, THE INDIE PENDANT, into HIS OWN next blockbuster. The catch, of course, is that Wynn is going to take the credit for writing the screenplay and produce it without Kevin.

Two years later, Kevin is an usher at a movie theater while the relationship with his girlfriend, Jennifer, is failing. She wants more in their relationship than the struggling artist can give. Adding to his problems, Kevin discovers that his beloved screenplay was turned into a “Coming Soon” blockbuster with superstar actor Collin May. Kevin returns to Creative Forces Studios and confronts Wynn about payment and credit. Wynn refuses and has security run Kevin off.

Shortly after returning to Las Vegas, Kevin schemes with his film crew buddies, Peter and Dave, on getting the film back. Their plan: steal the “premiere print” from the Hollywood theater where the film will be premiering. In doing so, Kevin will have to convince his last film’s cast members Donna, Roy, and Mark in pulling off the caper. After completing this task they will use the film as ransom and threaten to put it on the internet for free. Wynn calls Kevin’s bluff, forcing him to follow through. Although, in order to follow through, Kevin will have to tuck away his pride and call on the assistance of his old film buddy turned nemesis, Cory. The two ex-buddies had a falling out over Jennifer, several years before. Kevin convinces Cory to join him and the others in the caper.

Because of mounting pressure from the media and paranoia from his super star, Collin May, Wynn calls on the services of a Swedish husband and wife goon team to track down Kevin and the premiere print. Their plans are to NOT hurt Kevin, but to simply scare him into giving back the print. Due to Kevin's and his team’s determination, the goons will be forced to go after Kevin’s true keepsake, Jennifer. Now Kevin, Cory, Peter and Dave will find themselves entrenched in a goofy game of cat and mouse as they attempt to pull off the biggest heist in Hollywood.
