HUGE AMBITIONS! SMALL FILMS. SMIDGITS ARE INVADING THE INTERNET MOVIE MARKET.

Las Vegas, NV—July 10, 2006— Las Vegas based Vision Dynamics Entertainment has put their feature film ambitions to the sideline as they push forward with a new powerful weapon called SMIDGITS. Billing itself “BIG ENTERTAINMENT FOR YOUR SMALL PACKAGE”, Smidgits are captivating thousands of viewers on YOUTUBE™, and are beginning to infect dozens of podcasting sites each day. In addition, Smidgits gained international podcast attention when they were recently featured on ROCKETBOOM.COM™ in Amanda Congdon’s June 14th video blog.

Since the launch of smidgits.com this past April, the filmmakers behind the brand have been plugging away at creating diverse subject matter from slapstick comedy skits, to dark melodramas. VDE’s President, Kelly Schwarze contributes their recent success to the fact that all of their Smidgits are under 5 minutes in length, making it easier for people to download and watch. The latest additions include “A GREAT FIT,” a “video-joke”, and “STALKER”, a suspenseful series that follows a woman as she is stalked… or is she being stalked?

At this point, all Smidgits have been written, directed and produced by members of the VDE/SMIDGITS Team. However, there are plans of opening the site to other filmmakers who wish to create their own Smidgits. Nothing official has been announced, however as the demands for Smidgits increase, there will be a need for more quality content and diversity on their site.

The success of iPod and internet-media technology is giving hope to the future of independent film distribution.

SMIDGITS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE ITUNES MUSIC STORE FOR FREE.

Kelly Schwarze, President of Vision Dynamics Entertainment stated, “One of the biggest struggles for the independent filmmaker is the distribution of their work. Although smidgits.com is currently only distributing very short films, it is one of the key building-blocks that we will be able to use in distributing feature films in the future.”

Las Vegas, NV—December 8, 2005 — Las Vegas based Vision Dynamics Entertainment is gearing up for the re-release of their third feature-length film, THE INDIE PENDANT. The PG-type action comedy is scheduled to play at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library (located at 1401 East Flamingo Road) on Thursday January 19th, 2006. The film originally premiered to local audiences last July at the Palms Casino Resort to an overwhelming 800 plus audience, and received State recognition from Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt.

Since the film originally premiered, producers Kelly Schwarze, Ed Dentzel, and J.P. Franco have been strategizing for distribution. Now that the film is complete for theatrical and DVD video release, the filmmakers intend on holding a series of screenings, and promotional events in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to attract distribution, and industry interest. The film captures the talents of acting scholar Rusty Meyers (Silverado, Top of the World, and Ocean’s Eleven), Nick Ernst, Joy Highsmith (Six Feet Under), and Sandy Hackett (The S.I.N., and Down and Derby). The production also employed a dozen interns from UNLV, and CCSN.

THE INDIE PENDANT WILL BE SCREENING AT THE EAST FLAMINGO, LAS VEGAS-CLARK COUNTY LIBRARY, ON THURSDAY JANUARY 19TH AT 7:00PM. ALL ADMISSION IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT www.vdefilms.com.

“THE INDIE PENDANT” is a quirky comedy that combines the controversial subjects of Internet piracy, scarcely talented Hollywood producers and screenplay theft. The film also gives viewers a first-time look at the today’s independent filmmaker, and the struggles this small minority faces in dealing with the “Hollywood Machine”. “VISION DYNAMICS ENTERTAINMENT” is a Las Vegas-based independent film and music video Company that has already produced fifteen music videos and three feature films.

Kelly Schwarze, Director and Co-Producer of The Indie-Pendant stated, “The film has been giving a face-lift, and a little attitude adjustment. Those who seen it at the Palms will be surprised to see what we did to it. It’s certainly edgier than before.”

ACCEPTED OR NOT? LAS VEGAS INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS SCORE BIG WITH SUNDANCE

Las Vegas, NV — February 9, 2005-- Vision Dynamics Entertainment, a rag-tag group of young independent filmmakers, announces that an uninvited visit to this year’s Sundance International Film Festival was a huge success in promoting their latest feature film entitled “The Indie-Pendant.” Despite a few hang-ups with Park City Police, the aggressive group of filmmakers promoted their quirky movie to thousands of Sundance and Slamdance-goers during the last weekend of the festivals.

The group’s original plan was to drive up and down Main Street, showing the film’s trailers and finished scenes to patrons walking on the sidewalks. However, Park City ordinances apparently prohibit the right to promote multimedia material without a permit. Police swooped in on the group, which were the only filmmakers promoting their film in this manner. After some reassessments in their operation, the group decided to wrap themselves in their promotional handbills and walk the streets to attract interest. Multimedia Director John Paul Franco filmed the entire ordeal, and has turned it into a six-minute documentary. The documentary is now available online at www.vdefilms.com/indiependant

Kelly Schwarze, Director, and Co-Producer of The Indie-Pendant stated, “The irony of our visit to Sundance was that we were the only ones promoting our film, period. Our film wasn’t even in the festival. I know it’s illegal guys, but damn it’s your ART! Wouldn’t it be worth going to jail for? We had a blast, didn’t hurt anyone, and received a large amount of publicity from looking really goofy.”
