Portfolio Development Opportunity:

Final Cut Pro Editor

General Summary:

Provides services as an Online Editor or Assistant Editor as needed and time-allowing. Position is open to anyone who is interested in an internship, apprentice position or portfolio development.

Qualifications:

• Willing to relocate, or local resident of Las Vegas, NV.
• Own and maintain their own G4/G5 NLE workstation.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in filmmaking, cinematography or as an film/video editor.
• Minimum of 1 year experience of the digital film and video industry including at least a working knowledge of applications such as Adobe After Effects, Commotion Pro or Shake.
• Excellent knowledge of Digital Video and its applications including a strong knowledge of at least two of Apple¹s Film and Post Production Tools.
• Exposure to compression and transcoding software/hardware and results of different codecs.
• Ability to influence and guide both technical and non-technical colleagues with excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• A passion and knowledge of the Digital Film and Video industry.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
