(Las Vegas, NV) Just when you think he’s hiding under a rock, long-time local Las Vegas filmmaker, Kelly Schwarze comes out of the woodwork
with another feature-length film in production. This time, he’s out to make audiences laugh and be offended all in one sitting with a movie titled, “You People”.

The film is an independent feature-length comedy about a rag-tag group of board game designers becoming extinct because technology isn’t allowing their products to survive in today’s society. Their solution after getting fired, is to make an outrageous new board game called You People, which becomes an immediate hit, but at the same time causes racial, cultural and religious riots around the world! They soon find out that they need to fix what they started and they need to fix it fast!

Schwarze started production early this year, first getting his A-List cast together. He’s featuring local talent and when we say “talent” – it’s an understatement. “We have an incredible group of actors and it’s an honor to work with them on this type of project,” Schwarze says. “From the smallest role to the largest, this is by far the most talented menagerie of actors and they’re the ones who are going to carry this movie to success.” This film is the first time Schwarze has had an African-American actor as his lead – something he’s wanted to do for a long time.

Schwarze has also been working with the NV Film Office to organize locations with the help of Danette Tull. The crew has already filmed at the Jason’s Deli downtown earlier in the month, and at the CineVegas Film Office at their new location near in Green Valley. “The production value on the film is great and the NV Film Office has been extremely helpful just how they’ve always been.” Schwarze comments.

Schwarze says, “The production so far is going great, working 4 days a week on a 26 day production schedule.” The film will be finished with production at the end of June and will be in post-production for the remainder of the year.
